Player of the Year David Battisti signs!!! Goaltender David Battisti is in the same company as former USNTDP players Cole Bardeau and Matt Lane and current NCAA D1 leading scorer and Vegas Golden Knights draft pick Jack Dugan as winner of the player of the year award. His other honors include Scotty Bowman Cup Selection, HCANY First Team, First Team All State, First Team AGR. Director of Scouting Matt Dibble had this to say on Battisti “Bubba is a kid who never had the easy road in hockey. Really happy to have him wear the Rush jersey and continue doing what he has done his whole life at the junior level.” Dibble continued “He won every award he could this year including  player of the year and graduated from a great high school. His character and work ethic are what separate him.” The Rush would like to welcome Bubba and his family to Charlotte.
