Charlotte Rush Veteran Chandler Judd Commits to NCAA D-III SUNY Fredonia for 2018-2019 season and Forward Antonio Demacopoulos for following 2019-2020 season. 

Charlotte, NC: The Charlotte Rush are proud to announce veteran Forward Chandler Judd has committed to SUNY Fredonia .  Judd has been with the Charlotte Rush since day one, helping build one of the most successful programs  in the USPHL.  

GM Ryan Cruthers on Judd “This is a really proud moment for the organization as Chandler Judd has done everything the right way.  He started at the USP3HL level, stayed loyal and spent three years being a leader and true professional.  Judd dedicated himself to improving every day, including training with our staff during the off season.  Chandler built this program with us since day one and is a great representation of the Charlotte Rush.  I am extremely proud of his accomplishments and know he will be a great person on and off the ice for SUNY Fredonia.”

Chandler Judd on his commitment , “I would like to thank Ryan Cruthers, Trevor Jewell, John Keating, John Turner and the entire Charlotte Rush organization for giving me the opportunity to develop and further my hockey career at SUNY Fredonia. To be able to be with one program since its conception and seeing it grow to be the standard in the league is a point of pride that I will never lose. I want to thank my family, friends and most importantly my teammates for always pushing and supporting me in everything I do. Lastly, I would like to thank Coach Jeff Meredith and Coach Mike Lysyj for affording me this amazing opportunity and I cannot wait to become a part of the Blue Devil family.”

We are excited to announce that Forward Antonio Demacopoulos has committed to NCAA D-III SUNY Fredonia for the 2019-2020 season. The Premeir Forward has 25 points in 32 games this season. 

GM Ryan Cruthers on Demacopoulos ,“We are very proud of Antonio and how well he has improved this season.  Dema has been a great addition to our organization and we expect him to be a big part of our team next season before moving onto SUNY Fredonia.  I am very excited for Antonio as he really bought into our culture on and off the ice, I am excited to watch him continue to develop under our guidance and feel SUNY Fredonia is a great fit for him.”

Antonio Demacopoulos on his commitment , “First off I'd like to thank Coach Ryan Cruthers, Trevor Jewell, John Keating, John Turner and the Charlotte Rush organization as a whole for everything they have helped me with and continue to in the future. Also I'd like to thank my family and friends for supporting me in everything I have done. I'm really happy to become a part of the Fredonia family and can't wait to be a Blue Devil.”

Judd and Demacopoulos are the 11th and 12th players this season that have committed to NCAA D-III from the Charlotte Rush.
